Red Dead Redemption is King while Prince of Persia is forgotten

We all knew Red Dead Redemption would be amazing, but it didn't register until I saw IGN's video review today.  Its 9.7 score just confirmed RDR as a must own.

Additionally, it scored a 9.8 from the IGN UK and 9.75 from Game Informer.  Rockstar, you've done it again!  Reviewers claim the game is incredibly polished and the attention to detail is awe inspiring considering the game's massive scope.  With the release date a day away everyone get ready to play the S@#t out of this tomorrow!

Speaking of tomorrow, Prince of Persia the forgotten sands is released on the 18th as well.  It is very strange that there is no single review out there, and by strange I mean bad.  We all know that when huge games don't have a review up a day away from release, the score can't be good.

I truly hope the game is acceptable as I loved the 2008 Prince of Persia and the original Sands of Time.  My guess is that while the game won't score low, it won't be competition for RDR so Ubisoft is holding off on letting reviews out for fear of competition.  The reality is that it chose a BAD time to release the game.  Read Dead Redemption is not just another game, it is the type of game that revolutionizes the industry itself.  From what I can gather from reviews, it sounds like it will be everything that GTA IV should've been.
